To facilitate more efficient work collaboration and faster command and dispatch, a power supply company under SPIC Inner Mongolia Energy Co., Ltd. decided to renovate and upgrade its internal communication system.
Project Requirements
- The new system shall integrate calls from the regional dispatch center, external lines, SIM cards, dedicated lines and other channels, and direct all incoming calls to the dispatch console for easy answering and dispatching by dispatchers.
- All calls shall be automatically recorded, and the recordings shall be converted into text through an ASR server.
- For outgoing calls, customized dialing rules shall be formulated for different external lines.
- The system shall support real-time speech-to-text conversion; in emergency situations, spoken words can be quickly converted into text and sent as text messages to designated numbers.
- The system shall automatically send alarm SMS to operation and maintenance personnel when storage space is insufficient or when sensitive operations such as space cleaning are performed by any user.
- The system shall be equipped with dispatch functions such as video linkage and one-click group call intercom.

After in-depth communication with the customer and a thorough understanding of its specific scenarios and requirements, XUNMEISD designed a comprehensive overall solution based on 20 years of industry experience. First, an IP communication server and an ASR server were deployed in the customer’s computer room. Then, FXO gateways and SIM card gateways were installed to access the customer’s various external lines. Finally, to ensure data security when communicating with different platforms, an SBC and a network firewall were deployed at the upper layer, and IP telephones were installed at the terminal layer.
