Customer Background
To improve the efficiency of rescue communication, a fire station in Ningbo decided to carry out informatization transformation of the station, integrating all its business onto a single network and enabling the access to all information related to personnel, communication, dispatching and rescue at the station through a single interface. As the lifeline of rescue operations, the stability and efficiency of the internal communication system of the fire station are directly related to the success or failure of rescue work. The original traditional telephone system was unable to support its informatization transformation, so XUNMEISD’s IP communication system was ultimately selected to connect to its internal intelligent management platform.
Customer Requirements:
- The system platform can obtain the extension list and their registration status every minute.
- XUNMEISD telephone system needs to push the current call list to the intelligent management platform in real time.
- The system supports call recording and can save recording files to a dedicated storage server.
- The system needs to support standard SIP access, and mobile phones can register via SIP to complete internal telephone services.
- If the intelligent management platform server restarts, call records may be lost. In case of omissions, it is required to query the CDR for a certain period of time for checking the time and call records, and make up the missing records with one click.

To provide the customer with a new-generation network telephone communication system that is fully feasible, technologically advanced, uniformly standardized, economical and practical, easy to manage, reliable and secure, and with quality assurance, we follow the principles of practicality, advancement, openness, scalability and reliability in designing this technical solution.
After communicating with the customer and understanding their specific scenarios and requirements, XUNMEISD designed a comprehensive overall solution based on 20 years of industry experience. First, an IP communication server XUC500 was deployed in the customer’s computer room to manage the communication system and push data to the intelligent management platform of the fire station. Then, an external line voice gateway was deployed to access the emergency call lines and other telephone services of the operators. Finally, the original analog telephones were connected via FXS gateways, and IP telephones were directly deployed at the newly added positions.

Call Recording: The equipment supports recording all incoming calls and backing up the recording files for the fire station’s subsequent call management and evidence collection.
Intelligent Transfer: When the emergency call hotline is busy, the system supports transferring incoming calls to other standby seats or the mobile phones of relevant personnel.
Integration with Informatization Platform: The system is built on the standard SIP protocol, enabling seamless access to the intelligent management platform of the fire station. It is also equipped with rich API interfaces, so no adjustments are needed for subsequent intelligent transformation and the system can be continuously used.
